Medal

High engineer knowledge, ardent interest in building history, susceptibility to form and material as well as creative courage are unseperately incorporated in the work of Conzett. Whether he designs himself or cooperates with architects the convincing unity of structure and design is always surprising.

Jürg Conzett is constantly expanding his already commendably diversified expertise of load-bearing structures for bridges and buildings. He curated the Swiss Biennale Pavilion 2010, lectured at Harvard and takes the time to work on major publications.

Jürg Conzett is honoured with the medal of the Schelling Architecture Prize 2008.

Medal

With his pioneering work in the field of resource and pollutant flows in buildings, the life cycle analysis of buildings and the long-term management of buildings scientific principles have emerged for a conceptionally and technically precise layout of building structures.

Niklaus Kohler is honoured with the medal of the Schelling Prize for Architectural Theory 2006.

Medal

Over a long period Uta Hassler’s scientific reflexions have defined future topics of building culture: Modification of existing buildings instead of focusing on new buildings and maintenance of exemplary buildings.

Uta Hassler is honoured with the medal of the Schelling Prize for Architectural Theory 2006.

Medal

Sergison & Bates have realized laconic buildings in a modest but precise way proving that modern architecture is able to profoundly contribute to the rooting of buildings with their location.

With their unspectacular modern architecture they understand how to evoke the distinctive features of localities and interpret construction tasks in a new way.

Jonathan Sergison & Stephen Bates are honoured with the medal of the Schelling Architecture Prize 2006.

Medal

Titus Bernhard continues with his buildings classic modern architecture by means of clear conceptual structures which are realized in an exemplary manner.

Basic considerations about materiality, space and design vocabulary are the variables Bernard is dealing with.

Titus Bernhard is honoured with the medal of the Schelling Architecture Prize 2006.
